📖 “The sacrifices pleasing to God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not reject.” — Psalm 51:17
Some wounds don’t show on the outside.
Painful memories, such as: Abuse. Trauma. Shame. Guilt. Regret. Mistrust. The kind of pain that makes you wonder if you’re even worthy of love—especially God’s.
Perhaps you’ve made serious mistakes, or you’re carrying trauma from things you couldn’t control. Maybe you’ve heard the words “get over it” too many times—or you’ve told them to yourself, silently. But your heart still feels heavy. Crushed.
Jehovah God doesn’t look away from broken things.
He draws closer.
📖 “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
📖 “But now I am continually with you; You have taken hold of my right hand. You guide me with your advice.” — Psalm 73:23–24
You may feel like no one else understands what you’re going through. But Jehovah God does. And not only does He understand—He stays. He takes your hand. He walks with you. He offers wisdom, not condemnation. Comfort, not shame.
That’s why Jesus spoke so tenderly to his disciples. He wanted them to know that they never needed to feel alone or forgotten.
📖 “Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore have no fear: you are worth more than many sparrows.” — Matthew 10:29–31
Jesus connected freedom from fear with confidence in Jehovah’s personal care.
You are seen. Known. Treasured.
Even in your lowest moments—even with a heart that feels fragile—Jehovah sees value in you. And He’s not leaving.
He’ll take your hand and guide you through this, too.
That kind of love heals.
The apostle Paul echoed this when he wrote:
đź“– “If God is for us, who will be against us? – Romans 8:31–32
When we are loyal to God—no matter how bruised we feel—He never turns away. Instead, He draws near. Not in anger, but in compassion. Not in judgment, but in comfort.
If you’ve been walking through a storm of pain and sorrow, remember: Jehovah doesn’t reject broken people. He restores them.
Bring Him your crushed heart. He’ll never turn you away.
