The Bible assures us that God notices oppression and will bring relief.
In a world overflowing with injustice, it can feel as if no one sees or cares. Political corruption, military conflict, and unjust policies often crush the vulnerable while the powerful remain untouched. Those suffering under such burdens may wonder: Does God notice whatโs happening?
The Bible assures us that He does. Jehovah God is not blind to oppression. In fact, the Scriptures acknowledge its existence โ not to excuse it, but to comfort those who endure it with the promise that He will bring it to an end. God sees what others overlook and has appointed a time when justice will no longer be delayed.
๐ โIf you see any oppression of the poor or a violation of justice and righteousness… do not be surprised… for there is One higher than the high official who is watching, and there are others higher than they are.โ โ Ecclesiastes 5:8
Rather than being indifferent, Jehovah God watches over those who suffer, and He will hold all abusers accountable. His awareness is not passive โ itโs paired with a plan to restore justice fully through His Kingdom. That truth offers deep comfort: You are not forgotten. You are not alone. Relief is coming.
๐ โLook! My servant whom I chose, my beloved, whom my soul approved! I will put my spirit upon him, and what justice is he will make clear to the nations. He will not wrangle, nor cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the broad ways. No bruised reed will he crush, and no smoldering flaxen wick will he extinguish, until he sends out justice with success. Indeed, in his name nations will hope.โ – Isaiah 42:1-4; Matthew 12:15-21.
