๐ โHis delight is in the law of Jehovah, and in His law he reads in an undertone day and night. He will be like a tree planted by streams of water.โ โ Psalm 1:2-3
A tree planted beside flowing water never withers.
Its roots draw nourishment deep from the soil, allowing it to remain strong through every season.
So it is with those who love Jehovahโs Word โ they are spiritually steady, fed from a constant source of wisdom.
Reading the Bible is more than study โ it is communion, like the ancient Israelites who joined in thanksgiving meals before Jehovah.
๐ โIf someone presents a communion sacrifice of thanksgiving โฆ he will present unleavened cakes mixed with oil.โ โ Leviticus 7:11-13
Study is a rich spiritual meal where we invite Godโs own words to feed our inner need.
Partaking of Jehovah Godโs elevated spiritual truths is like climbing a mountain where the fog clears and the whole landscape of His purpose becomes visible.
๐ โIn this mountain Jehovah of armies will make for all the peoples a banquet of rich dishes, a banquet of fine wine โฆ and in this mountain He will remove the shroud that is enveloping all the peoples.โ โ Isaiah 25:6-7
Each time we study, we taste that banquet.
We are nourished, clarified, and strengthened โ like trees beside streams that will never run dry.
๐ โThose hoping in Jehovah will regain power; they will soar on wings like eagles.โ โ Isaiah 40:31
Final Thought
Those conscious of their spiritual need walk a path that leads upward โ sometimes steep, always blessed.
With humility, obedience, and continual study, they draw from the water of life, climb the mountain of understanding, and rest under the wings of a loving Father who teaches, protects, and satisfies their every need.
