Pain—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—can feel endless. Yet the Bible assures us that God sees every tear and hears every cry for help.
📖 “He heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3.

Comfort matters because:

  • Pain is never ignored by God; He is attentive and compassionate.
📖 “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18.
Even in our deepest suffering, Jehovah God draws near with tender care, proving that no pain goes unnoticed by Him.
  • Comfort doesn’t erase pain immediately, but it brings endurance and resilience.
📖 “The God who supplies endurance and comfort” (Romans 15:5) strengthens us to bear trials with patience, reminding us that His support equips us to endure when our own strength runs out.
  • God promises a time when pain will be no more.
📖 “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” — Revelation 21:4.
This future promise assures us that pain is temporary, and lasting peace lies ahead under God’s Kingdom.

Comfort for those in pain is the reminder that suffering is temporary, but God’s love is eternal. He sustains us now and promises complete healing in the future.
