Political unrest often stirs fear, uncertainty, and division. Corruption, injustice, or instability can make daily life feel unsafe and unstable. Yet the Bible reminds us that human rule is temporary, and God’s Kingdom will bring lasting peace.
📖 “Do not put your trust in princes nor in a son of man, who cannot bring salvation. His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; on that very day his thoughts perish.” — Psalm 146:3, 4.

Comfort matters because:

  • God’s Kingdom promises a government of righteousness and justice that will never fail.
Unlike human governments that rise and fall, God’s Kingdom is founded on righteousness, guided by peace, and ruled by a perfect King. Its leadership brings lasting justice to the earth.
📖 “For a child has been born to us… and the government will rest on his shoulder. His name will be called… Prince of Peace. To the increase of his rulership and to peace, there will be no end… to establish it firmly and to sustain it through justice and righteousness, from now on and forever.” —Isaiah 9:6,7
  • His word assures us that He notices oppression and will bring relief.
In a world filled with injustice, Jehovah God is not indifferent. He sees every act of corruption and hears the cries of the oppressed — and He will act to make things right.
📖 “If you see any oppression of the poor or a violation of justice and righteousness… do not be surprised… One high official watches over another high official, and there are still higher officials over them.” —Eccl 5:8

Though nations rise and fall, God’s promises remain unshakable. His comfort reminds us that lasting peace does not depend on human rulers but on His Kingdom.
