Anxiety can feel like walking through a valley with no end in sight. Depression can feel like trying to move through water with weights on your ankles. On days like these, courage isn’t loud — it’s quiet. It’s taking one more breath. One more step.
Jehovah God understands how hard that step can be. That’s why He speaks directly to us with these reassuring words:
📖 “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10
Notice the verbs: I am with you. I will fortify. I will help. I will hold on.
This isn’t a passive kind of comfort — it’s active support. Jehovah God doesn’t just watch us struggle; He steps into the valley with us.
Depression can convince us we are weak. But in God’s eyes, courage is not the absence of fear — it’s choosing to keep going while clinging to His hand.
📖 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” — Psalm 56:3
📖 “You gave me courage and strengthened my soul.” — Psalm 138:3
Steadiness isn’t perfection. It’s the ability to remain rooted when the storm howls around us — and that steadiness comes not from ourselves, but from the God who never lets go.
If today is hard, remember this: You are not walking alone. Jehovah is steadying you, strengthening you, and quietly whispering:
“I am with you.”
