Even in times of financial strain, Jehovah God is aware of our basic necessities. He reassures us that if we seek Him first, our needs will be met.

Financial hardship can leave a person feeling anxious, insecure, or even ashamed. When we struggle to provide for our families or ourselves, the weight of uncertainty may feel overwhelming. But Jehovah God sees. He understands. And He cares. In fact, He tenderly invites us to shift our focus—not to the scarcity around us—but to His Kingdom and His righteousness, with this beautiful promise:

📖 “Never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ … Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you.”
— Matthew 6:31–33

This scripture does not minimize our needs—it dignifies them. Jehovah God knows that food, clothing, and shelter are not luxuries, but essentials. And He assures us that by putting Him first, He will not forget us. He will not let us go without help.

Sometimes that help comes in unexpected ways—a kind word, a small gift, a new opportunity. Other times, it comes through the strength He gives us to endure, one day at a time. Whatever the means, the promise stands: Jehovah God will provide. And those who trust Him will never be abandoned.
