God’s Kingdom guarantees lasting relief from hunger and poverty. Unlike temporary aid programs or unstable economies, His government will bring justice and security that never fail.
What will this mean for you personally? Listen to the promise recorded by the prophet Isaiah:
📖 “They will build houses and inhabit them, plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They will not build for others to live in, or plant so that others can eat. For my people shall live as long as trees, and my chosen ones wear out what their hands have made” (Isaiah 65:21,22, The Jerusalem Bible).
Did you notice that the emphasis is not simply on building more houses or producing more food? Rather, it is on fairness, equality, and justice. Do you not long to live under such a government? Not only will you enjoy a home of your own — something many can only dream of today — but you will also live in peaceful surroundings, with plenty of food, clean air and water, and kind neighbors. These are the things the righteous administration of God’s Kingdom will bring.
The psalmist foretold:
📖 “There will be an abundance of grain on the earth” (Psalm 72:16). Revelation adds:
📖 “They will hunger no more, nor thirst anymore” (Revelation 7:16). These promises are not symbolic comforts but real assurances from the God who cannot lie.
For those who struggle now with poverty, these words are a guarantee of a better tomorrow. Jehovah God promises that under His Kingdom, poverty will be permanently erased, and all His people will live with dignity, security, and abundance.
