In a world that celebrates self-reliance, Jesus taught a higher path.
True happiness belongs to those who recognize their need for God — who search for His Word of truth and keep seeking the deeper wisdom found in the Bible. That humble search marks the beginning of the road that leads to lasting peace and joy.
In his famous sermon on the mountain, Jesus said:
📖 “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.” — Matthew 5:3
To be conscious of our spiritual need is to understand that we cannot walk successfully without God’s help.
Admitting that truth isn’t weakness — it’s the roadway to peace.
Jehovah God promises to draw close to the humble and fill their hearts with confidence and rest.
📖 “Jehovah is near to those broken at heart; and those crushed in spirit he saves.” — Psalm 34:18
But spiritual growth is not a single moment; it’s a journey.
Jesus said: “Keep on asking, and it will be given you; keep on seeking, and you will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to you.” — Matthew 7:7-8
So we must persevere — keep praying (Romans 12:12), keep walking faithfully in the same course (Philippians 3:16), and keep knocking for understanding.
Learning about Jehovah and His ransom provision through Jesus Christ, the King of God’s Kingdom, is a road that leads to everlasting life.
📖 “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” — John 17:3
It is a road worth walking, step by step, knowing that “no matter what it is that we ask according to His will, He hears us.” — 1 John 5:14
