Few things pierce the heart like watching a child go down a harmful path. Whether they’ve distanced themselves emotionally, spiritually, or physically, the ache of a parent’s love doesn’t disappear—it grows deeper.
Jesus once told a story that captures this pain—and the hope that never dies.
📖 “While he was still far away, his father caught sight of him and was moved with pity.” — Luke 15:20
The son in the story had walked away from his family, made ruinous choices, and hit rock bottom. But the father didn’t give up. He kept watching. And when his son came back with a sincere heart, the father didn’t shame him—he ran to him. He embraced him. He welcomed him home.
That’s how Jehovah God feels, too. And it’s the hope He invites parents to hold on to. If your child has strayed, even for years, never stop praying, never stop watching the horizon. Jehovah God sees your faithful love, and He knows the power of a changed heart.
Return is always possible. And when it happens, the reunion can be more beautiful than you ever imagined.
