Work often becomes part of identity. When someone asks, “What do you do?” we usually answer with a job title. So when that title is lost, it’s easy to feel like part of yourself has vanished.
But your worth is not defined by a company, position, or paycheck. Jesus reassured his followers with these words:
📖 “Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” — Luke 12:7
If God values the smallest bird, how much more does He value you? Your worth to Him is not tied to a résumé, career ladder, or human opinion. You are valuable simply because you exist and because He sees in you qualities—love, endurance, compassion, skill—that no job loss can erase.
Losing employment may change your schedule, but it does not change your identity. In Jehovah God’s eyes, you remain priceless.
