Comfort for the HomelessTo be without a home can mean more than lacking a roof — it can mean feeling unseen, unsafe, or uprooted.
For some, it’s the result of disaster or conflict; for others, economic hardship or broken relationships.
But Jehovah God promises to be a refuge for those without one. He sees every struggle and offers real hope for stability, dignity, and belonging.

Here are three comforting truths from the Scriptures:

📖 Psalm 91:1–2 — “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will lodge under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Even when there’s no physical shelter, Jehovah Himself becomes a place of protection.
Through prayer and faith, we find peace under His “shadow.”

📖 Luke 9:58 — “The Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Jesus personally understood homelessness. He experienced the uncertainty of not having a place to rest, showing deep empathy for all who feel displaced or forgotten.

📖 Isaiah 65:21–22 — “They will build houses and live in them… they will not build for someone else to inhabit.”

God promises a future where everyone will have a secure home — not temporary shelter, but permanent peace and belonging.

Conclusion — A Home in Jehovah God’s Care

Homelessness in this world is temporary; Jehovah’s compassion is eternal.
Even now, He provides emotional refuge through faith, and soon His Kingdom will bring physical security to all.

Every person will have a place to live — and to live in peace.
Because the One who built the universe will rebuild this earth as a home for all who trust in Him.

📖 “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in tranquil resting places.” — Isaiah 32:18
