Prayer is more than words—it is a lifeline to Jehovah God. When burdens feel heavy, prayer draws us close to the One who listens, understands, and strengthens us.

Three comforting truths about prayer:

• Jehovah God listens to sincere prayers.
  📖 “You will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you” (Jeremiah 29:12). Yes, God will be a solid dependable rock (Deuteronomy 32:4).
• Prayer brings peace.
  📖 “Do not be anxious over anything… but in everything… let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts” (Philippians 4:6,7). In prayer we unburden ourselves, and in return Jehovah gives us a peace beyond what the world can offer.
• Jesus taught us to pray with trust. He assured:
  📖 “Your Father knows what you need even before you ask him” (Matthew 6:8). Trusting that God knows us personally allows us to pray with confidence, not fear.

Every prayer is heard, and every sigh is noted. Prayer is the open door to God’s comfort at all times.
